Richard has worked in food sector strategic consulting for over twenty years, specialising in international marketing.
He has spent much time in developing countries, where he continues his longstanding involvement in the Chinese and other markets. He is especially well-known in the dairy sector, where he has extensive experience of working with companies and organisations worldwide on projects throughout Europe, Asia, Americas, Oceania and Africa/Middle East.
After founding the food sector consultancy business at Landell Mills in 1993 and running it for eight years, Richard took some time out to work in industry and as an independent dairy consultant, before re-joining Orrani Consulting. Since then, he has helped the company go from strength to strength.
An Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Richard works on dairy assignments worldwide and regularly speaks at dairy industry events in Europe, the US and Oceania. He also edits the monthly newsletter China Dairy Product News and often contributes to other journals.
